"In the last 5 years, through co-financing from the European Union and alliances with cooperation organizations, Truvalu had the possibility of expanding its presence in Colombia, identifying opportunities in post-conflict regions as well as in the main cities of the country, thus generating the possibility of creating integration bridges between smallholders in a vulnerable situation with SMEs that seek to generate positive change and fairer relations with suppliers. Today we have provided business development services to over 40 SMEs and are investing in 7 companies. Between 2023 and 2024 we hope to double the number of investments in the country.It is important to highlight that the results obtained would not have been possible without establishing a solid alliance with El Lab, a company with which we have been working for more than 4 years, with whom we have developed a specialized accompaniment methodology for companies in the agricultural sector and which has led us to to be an attractive alternative as an investment partner or providing business development services.”
