Leo is an experienced senior finance professional, board member, coach and mentor with extensive international experience. He has worked for Shell more than 30 years having served in Middle East (Egypt), Africa (Gabon), Asia (Brunei), South America (Peru) and West and Eastern Europe (Romania) and being exposed to the full depth of the upstream energy business of Shell. Leo has done a broad range of finance roles as finance manager and controller. His last role was controller of the Projects & Technology division of Shell and prior to that business finance manager for Shell Research and Development as well as Drilling.

During his career he has worked on new business development, start-up companies in often difficult environments, amongst others. Currently he acts as coach & mentor for groups excellent master students from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Technical University Delft, solving organizational challenges through innovative and out of the box solutions for both enterprises and government. He is a non-executive director of ORC a leading manufacturer of concrete solutions in Ireland & UK. Leo has a master degree in International Economics. He is married with Brid (Irish) has two children (Tessa, Rian) both studying at college. His interests are international affairs and history.
